The ACMS KAYS Club collected an incredible 19,725 items during the annual Richard Potterton Food Drive. Seven students who gathered over 500 items each got to "pie" a teacher in a celebratory assembly, joined by members of Mr. Potterton's family.

Our middle school students showcased their spelling skills at this year’s City Spelling Bee, wowing the audience with their hard work and determination. Congratulations to finalists Emma Mangold (1st, ACCA), Brooklyn Vickers (2nd), Jacquelyn Contreras (3rd), and Tyler Feste (4th, ACCA), who advance to the County Spelling Bee in January.

ACMS Student Council attended a regional conference in Douglass, learning leadership skills from keynote speaker A’ric Jackson. They also delivered care packages with chocolate and thank-you cards to the City of Arkansas City, the police department, and the fire department to show appreciation for their service.

Arkansas City Middle School is embracing a heartwarming addition to its counseling team – this one with four legs and a wagging tail. Cupid, a specially trained facility dog, is already enhancing the school’s atmosphere with warmth, positivity, and comfort for those around her.
